Two years ago, a vir­tual Diva named Hat­sune Miku came into exis­tence and pio­neered a new niche of fan­fare started on nicovideo.jp.  Her ini­tial suc­cess, fused with the artists’ tal­ents and fans’ pas­sion, pushed for the evo­lu­tion of dou­jin music cir­cle which has since radi­ated its new­born energy into the main­stream pop­u­lar culture.

For the past month, dou­jin artists has been cel­e­brat­ing Miku’s 16+2nd birth­day by upload­ing their love-filled works.  (Btw, 16+2≠18 years old.  Miku-chan is 16 forever!)

Crash and inabil­ity to save solution

• If your game crashes at the scene where Maria is in the rose gar­den, copy the fol­low­ing files from the install disk’s bgm folder to the game’s bgm folder: 黄金の影修正版（ラック眼力）.ogg,　隣死　mu.ogg,　誘い.ogg,　螺旋_Choir.ogg (Taken from dai’s site)
• I found out that there might be some per­mis­sion nags for the game in vista. Sim­ply grants Full Con­trol to Users will solve the prob­lem. Do this before you make any new saves or else you’d want to cry when you find out your save files are gone. I think it’s a prob­lem with updat­ing global.sav file… and you can actu­ally see your save files but the game doesn’t rec­og­nize them. So instead you ctrl from begin­ning again you can just rename the .dat files, open up game and make ran­dom saves at the slots you want to recover your saves, close game, restore your old saves. Or if you know a way to hex global.sav file you can do that.

I didn’t expect that I’d find a fake on the bt tracker I nor­mally go but yeah… I fell for the fake but I got the real thing in the end. The above link is REAL, hence the screen­shot :3

Since I just started, I don’t know what to expect on term of how long this episode is and its dif­fi­culty com­pare to the pre­vi­ous episodes. Hope­fully EP5 will be eas­ier to under­stand than EP4.
